OrCam MyEye is a small device about the size of a USB that magnetically attaches to any pair of glasses and activates by voice command. It takes a picture of any page of text and reads it aloud, among many other qualities, such as identifying currency and describing surroundings. The device features a touchpad on the side guided by swipes and taps. The OrCam can also identify various products, US currency, credit cards, and faces. OrCam MyEye rapidly notifies the user when “One person is in front of you.” Also, OrCam has the ability to recognize up to eight faces in front of you, even if you’re speaking to a person or wandering through a crowd of people.

These include the ability to “see” their surroundings and read street signs and product labels, among many others. To add objects or anything that wants to be recognized later, they must be seen or touched, and press the recognition button so that it can be recorded in the memory of your OrCam MyEyes. Some objects that are not recognized can be recorded in the memory manually.
